Jack Evans - Professional Football Player

GMS Business Accountants is proud to sponsor Jack Evans of Notts County Football Club for the 2026–27 season. The midfielder joined the Magpies in July 2026 following an impressive season with Harrogate Town, where he was named both Players’ Player and Fans’ Player of the Season.

As a business with strong links to Nottingham, we are delighted to support Jack during his first season at Meadow Lane. This sponsorship forms part of our wider commitment to supporting sport and the people who work hard to succeed within it.

Team Sponsorship

We have provided kit sponsorship for Hunts County Squash Club, who compete in the National Clubs Championships, helping players represent their club with pride at national-level competition.

Providing team kit helps ensure players look professional and feel part of a strong team environment when competing against clubs from across the country. It also helps raise the profile of local squash and the clubs that support it.

This sponsorship is delivered in partnership with The Sports Academy CIC, a community-focused organisation that supports participation and development in sport. Their work helps create opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to get involved and progress.

Tournament Support

GMS Accountants Sports Academy Open 2026

GMS Business Accountants is proud to be the title sponsor of the GMS Accountants Sports Academy Open 2026, taking place at Hunts County Squash Club from 6–8 November. This Professional Squash Association event will bring together talented men’s and women’s players competing for a £2,000 prize fund.

The weekend will also include friendly matches for juniors of all ages and abilities, followed by the women’s and men’s finals. Our support reflects our commitment to helping local sport thrive, creating opportunities for developing players and bringing high-quality competitive squash to the local community.

Junior and Ladies Development

We have contributed funding to encourage more ladies and junior players into squash, supporting the long-term future of the sport.

This support is delivered through Millie Tomlinson and her tournament platform MTevents, which provides professionally organised competitions and development opportunities for players across the region.

By backing initiatives that focus on participation and accessibility, we aim to help create more opportunities for women and young players to compete, gain confidence, and develop within the sport.

Grassroots development is vital to the long-term strength of squash, and we are proud to play a small part in supporting events that encourage wider participation and inspire the next generation.

Sawston Fun Run and Walk

This year GMS Business Accountants are proud to support the Sawston Fun Run and Walk, a great local event that encourages people of all ages and abilities to get active and enjoy being outdoors.
