Sponsorship & Squash
At GMS Business Accountants, we believe in supporting the local community and the sports we are passionate about. Squash is a big part of what we do outside the office, and we are proud to support players, teams and events across Cambridge, Nottingham and the surrounding areas.
Our sponsorship activities include:
Professional Player Sponsorship
Keep an eye out, in the coming months there will be news, with GMS Business Accountants and a current world tour professional. Supporting elite athletes helps promote the sport and inspire the next generation of players.
Team Sponsorship
We have provided kit sponsorship for Hunts County Squash Club, who compete in the National Clubs Championships, helping players represent their club with pride at national-level competition.
Providing team kit helps ensure players look professional and feel part of a strong team environment when competing against clubs from across the country. It also helps raise the profile of local squash and the clubs that support it.
This sponsorship is delivered in partnership with The Sports Academy CIC, a community-focused organisation that supports participation and development in sport. Their work helps create opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to get involved and progress.
We are proud to support initiatives that strengthen local sport while giving players the opportunity to compete at a high level.

Tournament Support
We support local squash tournaments and events, including the GMS Tournament, helping create opportunities for players of all standards to compete. Link to MTevents who organise a number of events around the midlands. Please Support Millie Tomlinson
Junior and Ladies Development
We have contributed funding to encourage more ladies and junior players into squash, supporting the long-term future of the sport.
This support is delivered through Millie Tomlinson and her tournament platform MTevents, which provides professionally organised competitions and development opportunities for players across the region.
By backing initiatives that focus on participation and accessibility, we aim to help create more opportunities for women and young players to compete, gain confidence, and develop within the sport.
Grassroots development is vital to the long-term strength of squash, and we are proud to play a small part in supporting events that encourage wider participation and inspire the next generation.
Sawston Fun Run and Walk
This year GMS Business Accountants are proud to support the Sawston Fun Run and Walk, a great local event that encourages people of all ages and abilities to get active and enjoy being outdoors.
Community events like this are a fantastic way to bring people together, promote healthy lifestyles, and support local causes. We are delighted to be involved in an event that makes such a positive impact locally.
Whether you're running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, the Sawston Fun Run and Walk is a great way to get involved in the community.
Supporting Local Squash Events
We have supported the development of squash tournaments across Cambridge and Nottingham, helping make events more accessible and better organised for players.
